回味台北

台北是一个很棒的地方, 对我来说. 虽然跟随潮流,时代变化,但她还是保留她独特的历史和文化.我万万也没想到... 程搭地铁30分钟就到了似乎古老年代的郊外.台北人对待外国人也恨有礼貌, 热诚.在夜市卖的小吃超好吃的, 大商店有很多日本牌子, 好像那里的时装十分被日本影响. 我买到了很多有趣的东西. 真愉快!

Watching the sunset

at Trigg Beach today after dinner, strolling down the harbour front in search of ice-cream for dessert, shopping at the little specialty stores... was what we did this evening to celebrate the good news. I was given my early christmas present and I absolutely adore it. It's an all around pearl necklace, just what I have been searching for. Good times. Merry Christmas everyone! And I shall update my blog upon my return from HKG/SG/JKT.

Swan river cruise

The weather cleared up by mid afternoon and this photo was taken onboard the boat where we had our christmas bbq and lots of alcohol to celebrate. I guess the blue sky, the river, the tranquillity of a quiet city is what attracts migrants here. This is something that I often take for granted and just maybe I would consider raising my kids here next time. That's a hard call to make, for a city person like me at least.

Fun is christmas shopping

We started doing our christmas shopping and have bought my nephews' presents. Those are always fun but I must admit it gets harder as they grow older. It is hard to keep up with what kids play these days. But at last, we decided on SCX car track sets for the 2 older boys and dog accessories for the youngest nephew, an animal lover. We are also putting up the christmas tree tonight... 3 more weeks to christmas in Hong Kong! Woo hoo!
