What did I do on Sunday?

Went to a few more furniture stores and finally found the bedroom set that we both liked. I loved it, it's got the rustic feeling to it. Solid oak wood. We bought the whole set - 1 King size bed, 2 bedside tables, 1 dresser, and 1 foot chest. We also decided on the Sony 26" Flat Panel TV which we will order next weekend and get someone to install the wall mount. Oka decided not to do it himself because the last couple of holes he drilled were not err... too good. The bedroom aircon is coming end of February/early March. We've got central ducted air-con around the house but it just ain't enough for 40 degrees summer weather, with the inside of the house warming up to as high as 50 degrees! So that's the room done.

Furniture shopping

... currently in the process of refurnishing our bedroom. Current bedroom furniture & tv will be moved to the guestroom once new furniture arrives. So I guess furniture hunting is what we will be doing today. I am lucky enough to have parents who had furnished up the whole house for us 4 years ago. But now getting to do it ourselves and furnish it to our own preferences is absolutely exciting. It's like moving into a new house all over again. I'm definitely getting a wall-mount flat panel for the bedroom. This is it, 2007's project. We agreed that for 2008, we will do up the dining & living areas.
