The long awaited

weekend is finally here! We've tested out the new gas bbq that we bought and confirmed that it is working fine. We have about 4 hrs of gas available for tomorrow's bbq, which should be ample. There are still a couple more things I need to get tomorrow morning - more citronella candles to ward off those annoying flies as we are going to be dining outdoor tomorrow. We pushed back the start time of the bbq to 7:30pm, hopefully by then the weather would have cooled down a bit. The weather forecast for tomorrow is a low of 22 and high of 35.

Yanhong in town (Continued)

the last week has been a blast and it's always when you have fun that time sneaks by so quickly. I was pretty sleep-deprived and I could have sworn that I've got eye bags developing... but the company's good, food's yummy, can't complain. We would come back home from our late dinners, open up a bottle of wine or two and just sat around to chit chat about anything we could think of at that moment - people we know, colleagues, nonsensical crazy talk, life, work. One night the weather wasn't too great (was drizzling outside) but we decided to beat the weather and do the bbq anyhow. We had so much to eat it wasn't funny. Hmm... but now that YH is going to be in the UK for the next year, it will give me a very good excuse to visit Europe next year. =) Woo hoo!

Yanhong in town

for the week. It's always good to catch up with old friends. We went to Houghton's Wine at Swan Valley for brunch on Sunday, coffee & chocolate fondue at the chocolate factory, and dinner at Little Creatures in Freo. It was probably too much food for a day but hey what's the harm with a little bit of over indulgence once in a while?

Today's shipment

consists of Desperate Housewives Season 3, Click, the breakup, over the hedge, etc. and also some more mp3s. :) Thanks Mr. Postman. I'm currently watching the breakup on my laptop while typing tonight's entry. I'm starting to calm down a little and my mood has settled down a bit and I now feel less angry with the 小人s of my life. I didn't go to the liquor store in time to buy a bottle of Bison Grass Vodka though. I will strive to get a bottle tomorrow and make myself an appletini. Yummmm. Have I ever mentioned b4 that 已经二十几岁了就不应该装可爱. 真烦人!
