My view

I guess it's true that when you don't have a man in your life, you want one. But when you have one, there are days when you feel like pulling your hairs out. I guess it's human nature. We are not easy to please and we subscribe to the chicken rice/duck rice theory. After a while, when the sparks are gone and when other factors around you cause strain in your relationship, you would look around and think there are definitely other bigger and more delicious fishes out there. No wonder divorces are more commonplace now than ever. Women are finding it easier to deal with divorces these days as well as we become more independent. Why not? If the guy is a jerk, if he is not able to give you happiness, why suffer in silence and give up the chance of a better catch? (in my opinion, this is if there is no children involved). Of course, there's always a possibility that you might catch a blowfish, in which case I would curse at the misfortune. Hee :)

The above came about from having drinks with an old Indo friend of mine. We were comparing notes and discovered that some of the most "bastard" guys out there have no looks, no money, and no other good traits other than perhaps the ability to sweet talk and give empty promises. Even though it sucks to be cheated on, but personally I would rather he be a hot guy. Agree?
