Why, oh why?

4 days came to an end quickly. All good things must come to an end I suppose. Singapore once again has not disappointed us with its good food and shopping. Each time I return to Perth, I keep asking myself WTF am I doing here? Oh well... and Nat would give me the look to remind me of the stupid reason. Is that a good enough reason though? I'm still not sure and will probably find out in the future. But anyway, I ate too much and shopped too much as usual. Getting to catch up with both friends and my family was rewarding. Oka & I hung out with my sister a bit and I must say her area has got so much yummy food! The Katong Laksa was to die for and even Oka agreed and he's not even much of a Laksa fan. Recap:
14/4:
Breakfast at some Kopi Tiam at Katong: Egg tart, Kaya Toast, 1/2 boiled egg, custard bun, Barley drink

Xiao Long Pao at Neil Road: Very yummy/the best xiao long pao, fried dumpling, custard fried dumpling for dessert and glutinous balls.

Sun with Moon Dining: My japanese steak was so good, definitely not like Yoshinoya ("quote" Robin) who claimed that his tasted like Yoshinoya and that the shaved ice on the dessert menu would be something like Ice Kacang. He he.

Drinks @ Marriot Bar: Everyone had Hoegaarden.

15/4:
Lunch at Marina Square food court

Dessert at Coffee Club

Long Beach @ East Coast: Excellent seafood but would taste better if I didn't feel so full from all the eating in the late afternoon.

Blu Bar @ Shangri La: The view is pretty good and I must say they've got interesting paintings in the toilets. Hahaha. Pity I didn't take photos of them.

16/4:
Katong Laksa: Best laksa I have eaten. I will definitely not be ordering this dish in Perth anymore. The Otak was real yummy too.

Whampoa Market Hawker: Yummy stinkray, hokkien mee, indian rojak, fried oyster egg, ho fun, crispy san mee, sugar cane juice. U would think that's all we could take in for the night but NO...

Ice Creamery @ Serene Center: I had the red bean ice-cream. I can't believe they make Tiger Beer Sorbet!

17/4:
Loy Kee Chicken Rice @ Balestier: What can I say, I love my chicken rice.

Dessert @ NYDC: Chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream. What can go wrong with that?

Old Chang Kee: Stopped by to get curry puff before heading for the airport.
